Denying the truth by ignoring its existence.

If you are capable if recognizing and defeating willful ignorance internally, you are on your way toward real progress. If you are capable of convincing others against their own willful ignorance, you are a magician and I don’t believe you.

Position -“I’m just no good at numbers.”
Counter-Position -But it’s easy, you just have to..
Fallacy -“..Oh that’s way too confusing! Let’s just ask Kayla.”
Why This is a Fallacy
Maintaining a position without hearing additional input. Or, assuming abilities without attempting to improve is a personal barrier that must be eliminated in order to make progress.
